Stealth QE continues. 1st April the Federal debt roll over starts.

Before the Fed will announce the transition to growth of the economy from shrinkage of the economy, QT vs QE, they will start "Stealth QE" and make new liquidity without really letting you know. Remember if Jerome Powell says QE the market takes off. He wont say it until way after it has been prepared for. Stealth.

For instance $70b in treasuries are maturing in just April. Only $5b will be allowed to roll off without reinvestment. The rest will be purchased at auction.

On March 19, 2025, the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) decided to slow the pace of decline of its securities holdings by reducing the monthly redemption cap on Treasury securities from $25 billion to $5 billion, beginning in April. Specifically, the FOMC directed the Desk to, beginning on April 1, roll over at auction the amount of principal payments from the Federal Reserve’s holdings of Treasury securities maturing in each calendar month that exceeds a cap of $5 billion per month. It also directed the Desk to redeem Treasury coupon securities up to the monthly cap and Treasury bills to the extent that coupon principal payments are less than the monthly cap. If the total amount of maturing securities in a month is lower than the cap in effect that month, then no principal payments will be rolled over during that month. The liquidity is coming.
