But I have an issue with his age and the fee involved. Stones is similarly versitile and was available for free. I wouldv'e done that deal instead of this one cos I have Mosquera who I dont want to stall.

I understand why Arsenal want Konsa. He's a plug and play versitile defender who can come in and immedieatly cover for Saliba. He can also play right back a position where we had a lot of injuries last season..

They need to be properly rested and integrate them by the Chelsea game. My only worry is the right side of defense. Not having either one of Saliba and Timber is a worry.. Mosquera and White for all those games looks like too much. We need Timber back to reinforce that area..

We can play the first 3 games of the season without the need to rush Saka and Rice..

Madueke/Dowman for the right wing can cover Saka. Then we have a midfield that has Bruno, Zubimendi and Odegaard with Merino, Lewis Skelly and Eze as sub options..

I dont rate Barcola, Nico Williams, Rafael Leao etc.. They are not very far from Martinelli. I rather keep Martinelli and put money on a real mover.. Iliman Ndiaye is a very good shout, Kenan Yildizis anothewr good shout..

If Vinicius Jr. signs for Arsenal there’s no way he will take Saka's number 7 shirt. But there's two likely options:

Those complaining about the £75m fee just because he’s turning 29 aren't being realistic. Players are still in their prime at that age and easily have another 3 to 4 seasons at the top level. A 4-year contract would take him to 33, which isn't old at all..
