.@NHSBartsHealth has been at the forefront high quality intracranial stereotactic radiotherapy since the 1980s. We are ever grateful to the #LondonMasons for enabling us to hit the ground running with SABR in 2011 and the benefit it’s brought to our patients and our department.

Yesterday we got together with the @NHSBartsHealth #Radiotherapy team and the @LondonMasons at St Bartholomew's Hospital to send off the Cyberknife in style.

The machine has prolonged the lives of close to 2000 cancer patients for the past 13 years and has transformed patient care, improving access to advanced radiotherapy and changed the landscape for cancer care.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to the London Freemasons for their generous donation of  incredible fundraising of £3.1m that made all of this possible.
