For sure, the guy looked disappointed and not happy about coming off the bench.

I stand to be corrected, but even I feel disappointed that the Spain manager keeps using Merino as a substitute, despite him being fit and available.

I keep asking myself: when will we see an Arsenal player starting regularly for Spain?

These guys are Premier League champions.

If this is not disrespecting the league, then why are they not starting?

We are talking about a player like Mikel Merino, whose performances have shown that he deserves to be in this Spain team.

Even if Spain are winning, a player who deserves to start should be given that opportunity.
