Really don't get the hate on the Tzolis signing. I know its the Belgian league, but 17 goals 23 assists is still MAD. Especially coming from the wing. As long as we still sign a Rogers/Barcola I truly do not mind the signing.
Just saw the Meslier news. 6 goals (yes SIX) conceded in TWO games in PL2. Even if Kepa is leaving (which must be the case now), why do we not just promote Setford to GK2? Jarring
Argentina need to do a far better job of exploiting the wide spaces. Scaloni's setup has them far too narrow. Bring on Barco. Test Egypt wide. That is how Argentina can win this game.
@FootballOranje_ Wow. Not sure if this is the right step for him at his age. Feel like it would have been mutually beneficially for him and Ajax to stay together for one more season. Oh well
Bedankt for alles Sean!
MIKEL MERINO. Zone dominant player. Massive goal.
Have to feel for Ronaldo/Portugal though. Roberto Martel-Aviv has simply not set them up for success with the way he platformed CR7.
Feels like Oyarzabal can never get himself half a yard when he’s facing a defender up.
Man still scores an obscene amount of goals though! I just wonder how this Spain team would look with a Samu type profile up front.
As much as I hope the USMNT go crashing out today, not sure if Belgium's backline is equipped for the transition speed the USA will bring. I have no faith in Belgium keeping a clean sheet whatsoever.
(Keep in mind the USA have scored twice in every single match thus far.)
- In this case, I feel that the suspension of the red card was the correct decision. However, in no world should it become known that the PRESIDENT of the United States is in contact with FIFA regarding a decision. Disgraceful.
My take on the Balogun situation:
- As seen with Ronaldo's suspension being suspended at the beginning of the tournament, as well as countless times in European leagues, suspension/overturning of a red card is a routine process that can be used when it is appropriate to do so
