It’s _easy_ for me to agree with that sentiment: here, police are generally unarmed and only specially trained officers, who generally have to be called into a situation, carry guns.

You hear him yelling, “Where’s the gun??!”

If people aren’t happy with the legal standards, then lobbying for those standards to be changed should be the obvious next step.
