I’ve always believed that marketers should never be trusted. The more I read marketing books, the clearer it becomes how much they rely on wordplay and manipulation. And if someone is doing that, it simply means they are not an honest person. An honest person doesn’t play with words.

During the live stream, there was no wordplay — Alex Hormozi clearly stated: “The $99 price remains. But for those watching live with me today, after the 90-day trial, it will continue at $9.”

But in reality, that’s not what happened.

Most likely, these marketers assume that whatever they say on the internet will quickly be forgotten in a few days, so they don’t care.

Let’s not let this slide. Let’s come together and question people who present themselves as “honest” while misleading their audience.
