Sensible people of both India and Pakistan don’t want this war and bloodshed. They want peace, prosperity and progress in their regions. They don’t want to suffer because of their leaders’ deadly selfish ambitions which they announce proudly in the guise of religious/nationalistic rhetoric.
They want justice and humanity in their communities. They want equal rights for minorities. They want humanity to prevail, not fascism and terrorism. They don’t want to discriminate or get discriminated on the basis of race or religion.
They want true democracy, human rights, poverty alleviation & medical facilities and education for all. They want to live in harmony with their neighbours and live with dignity and honour in their own countries.
They don’t want hysterical war-mongering on their TV channels. They want to know the truth in a civilized way and don’t want the sane and peaceful voices in their societies to get banned by the fascist regimes.
So lets urge our leaders to put an end to this horrible madness and de-escalate now…
