Pagi ini, Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia telah menerima panggilan kecemasan akibat kebakaran yang terjadi berhampiran stesen minyak Petronas Putra Heights, Subang Jaya.

Seramai 78 anggota telah mengusahakan pemadaman api sejak jam 8:10 pagi tadi dan sedang berlangsung sehingga kini.

Pihak Petronas telah menutup injap saluran gas yang bocor dan telah menyebabkan kebakaran pagi tadi.

Namun begitu, keadaan api masih marak disebabkan sisa gas yang masih di dalam saluran gas tersebut, dan ini telah menyebabkan api marak menjulang tinggi di kawasan Jalan Putra Harmoni, Putra Heights.

Proses cari dan menyelamat mangsa sedang berlangsung, dan sehingga jam 11:00 pagi, usaha evakuasi oleh JBPM telah mengeluarkan 7 orang mangsa, termasuk 2 warga emas.

Unit Pengurusan Bencana Negeri telahpun membuka satu Pusat Pemindahan Sementara di Putra Heights dan bekerjasama dengan JPBM untuk menerima mangsa evakuasi. Sementara itu, Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri Selangor turut bersedia menerima mangsa untuk dirawat di hospital berdekatan.

Sementara usaha-usaha ini masih berterusan, saya menasihatkan orang awam untuk tidak mendekati kawasan tersebut sehingga situasi kebakaran dapat dikawal dan disahkan selamat oleh JBPM.

Keutamaan kini adalah untuk mengawal kebakaran serta menyelamatkan mangsa. Saya mendoakan Allah SWT melindungi seluruh anggota keselamatan dan agensi kerajaan yang sedang bertugas dalam situasi yang mencabar ini.
