ރައީސް @maumoonagayoom ވެރިކަމާއި ޙަވާލް ވެވަޑއިގެން 1978ވަނަ އަހަރުން ފެށިގެން ދިވެހި ސިފައިންނަށް ހިލޭ ޓްރެނިންގް އާއި ހިލޭ ހަތިޔާރު އޭރުގެ ފެންވަރަހޯއްދަވައި ދެއްވުމުގެ ނަތީޖާ އިން 1988 ނޮވެމްބަރ 3 ގަ ސިފައިން ގެ މަރުކަޒު ތަމަޅައިން ގެ އަތްދަށަށް ނުގޮސް الله سبحانه وتعالى ގެ ރަޙްމަތްފުޅުން ސަލާމަތް ކުރެވުނީ. އަޅުގަނޑު މި އީ އެކަން އެއްމެގާތުން ދުއްމީހެއް.
3 ނޮވެމްބަރ 1888 ގަ އެމަނިކުފާނު އަރިހުގަ ފަތިހު 5 ޖެހީއްސުރެ 6 ޖަންދެން ހަތިޔާރާއި އެކު އަޅުގަނޑު ހުރިން އެމަނިކުފާނު ކެނޑި ނޭޅި ފޯނުން މަސަތްކަތްޕުޅު ކުރެއްވީ ދިވެހި ސިފައިންނަށް އިރުޝާދު ދެއްވަވާ އަވަށްޓެރި އަދި ދުރު ޤަވްމުތަކުގެ ވެރިންނާއި ގުޅުއްވައިގެން އެހީތެރިކަން ހޯއްދެވުމަށް ހިތްވަރުފުޅާއި ޙިކްމަތް ތެރިކަމާއި އެކު. ވޮޝިން މެޝިންފޮށިގަނޑެއްގެ ގެ ވާހަކަ އެއީ ދޮގު ބުހުތާން އެއްވެސް އަޞްލެއް ނެތް ވާހަކަ. ތީމުގެ އިން ފަތިހު އެބިރުވެރި ގަޑީގަ ތުއްޕުޅު @mgmaumoon އާއި އަނބިކަނބަލުން ނާއި އެކު ނުކުމެވަޑއިގަތީ ހިތްވަރުފުޅުގަދަވީމަ. އެއްވެސް ބޭފުޅަކާއި ބެހޭ ގޮތުން މިހާ ހައްސާސް ކަމެއްގަ އަޞްލެއް ނެތްވާހަކަ ދެއްކުން އެއީއެއްމެރަނގަޅުގޮތެއްނުން

Once again, Supreme Court judges—this time Justice Azmiralda Zahir and Justice Mahaz Ali Zahir are being kicked off the bench.

Each administration continues to use the Constitution as a mere tool for political manipulation—to consolidate power and to suppress any checks on their authority.

This isn't the first time and sadly wont be the last, unless we implement meaningful constitutional reforms to protect the integrity and Independence of the Supreme Court

ސްރީލަންކާގެ ދުސްތޫރީ ނިޒާމަކީވެސް ތަފާތު ނިޒާމެއް؛ ސެމީ ޕްރެޒިޑެންޝަލް ނިޒާމަކަށް ވުމުގެ އިތުރުން، ރިޔާސީ އިންތިޚާބުގައި ރައީސް ހޮވުމަށް ބޭނުންވާ ނިޒާމު ކަނޑައެޅުން ސްރީލަންކާގެ ޤާނޫނުއަސާސީން ދޫކޮށްފައި އޮތީއެތާގެ ޕާރލަމެންޓަށް ، ސްރީލަންކާގެ ޕްރެޒިޑެންޝަލް އިލެކްޝަން އެކްޓްގެ 50 ވަނަ މާއްދާއިން 61 ވަނަ މާއްދާގެ ނިޔަލަށް ކިޔާލުމުން ލަންކާގައި ދެބުރަށް އިންތިޚާބު ބޭއްވުމުގެ ނިޒާމު ޤާއިމުވެފައި ނެތަސް ، މުޠުލަޤު މެޖޯރިޓީ، އެއްވެސް ކެންޑިޑޭޓަކަށް ނުލިބިއްޖެނަމަ ، ގިނަވެގެން 3 ފަހަރު ވޯޓުގުނައިގެން ނަމަވެސް އެ މެޖޯރިޓީ ކަށަވަރުވާނެ ނިޒާމެއް ބުނެވުނު ޤާނޫނުގައި ވަނީ ތަރްތީބު ކުރެވިފައި.
ދިވެހިރާއްޖޭގައި ރިޔާސީ އިންތިޚާބުގައި ފުރަތަމަ ބުރުން އެއްވެސް ކެންޑިޑޭޓަކަށް 50% +1 ނުލިބިއްޖެނަމަ ދެވަނަ ބުރެއް ބާއްވަންޖެހޭނެކަމަށް ކަނޑައަޅައި ބަޔާން ކޮށްފައިވަނީ ޤާނޫނުއަސާސީގެ 111 ވަނަ މާއްދާގެ ޞަރީޙަ ޢިބާރާތުގައި، ޤާނޫނުއަސާސީގައި އިންތިޚާބީ ނިޒާމެއް ކަނޑައެޅިއްޖެއްޔާ އެވެގެންދާނީ ޤާނޫނުއަސާސީގެ “ބޭސިކް ފީޗަރސް” ތެރޭގައި ހިމެނިގެންވާ އަސާސީ ސިިފަޔަކަށް. އެކަން ކަށަވަރުވަނީ 2008 ގެ ޤާނޫނުއަސާސީ އެކުލަވާލި ޚާއްޞަ މަޖިލިހުން އެކަން ޤާނޫނަކުން ކަނޑައަޅަން ދޫކޮށް ނުލައި ސީދާ ޤާނޫނުއަސާސީގައި އިންތިޚާބީ ނިޒާމު ކަނޑައޅުން. ކަން މިހެން އޮތްއިރު ، ދިވެހިރާއްޖޭގެ ޖުމްހޫރިއްޔާގެ ޤާނޫނުއަސާސީފަދަ ލިޔެވިފައިވާ “ސެމީ ރިޖިޑް” ޤާނޫނުއަސާސީއަކީ އެންމެ ފަރުދެއްގެ، އެއީ ރައީސުލްޖުމްހޫރިއްޔާކަމުގައި ވިޔަސް، އޭނަގެ އަމިއްލަ މަޞްލަޙަތު ޙިމާޔަތް ކުރުމުގެ ނިޔަތުގައި ކުޅޭކުޅޭ އެއްޗަކަށް ހަދައި އާދައިގެ ޤާނޫނަކަށް ނުވަތަ ޤަވާޢިދަކަށް ނުވަތަ އުޞޫލަކަށް ބަދަލުގެންނަ މޭރުމުން ބަދަލުކުރެވޭ އެއްޗަކަށް ވެގެން ނުވާނެ، މިފަދަ ކަމެއްކުރުމަށް ރައީސުލްޖުމްހޫރިއްޔާ ހިތްވަރުދިނުމަކީ ބާރާއި އިޚުތިޔާރު ބޭނުންކުރުމުގައި ތަޢައްޞުފު ވުން. އެއީ ޤާނޫނުއަސާސީއާއި ޚިލާފުކަމެއް.
އުސްތާޒު މުޙައްމަދު ޙަލީމަށް ދަންނަވާލަން އޮތީ މޭޖަރ 2 ޕާޓީ ސިސްޓެމް އޮންނަ ބައެއް ޤައުމުތަކުގައި FPTP ވޯޓިންގ ސިސްޓެމް، ބައެއް އިންތިޚާބުތަކުގައި ބޭނުންކުރިޔަސް، އެ ނިޒާމްތައް ތަރްތީބުވެފައިވަނީ ރައްޔިތުން ޙަޤީޤީ މާނާގައި ތަމްޘީލުކުރެވޭ ފަދަ ހަރުދަނާ އުޞޫލުތަކެއްގެ މައްޗަށް. ރިޔާސީ ނިޒާމަށް ތަބާވާ ދުސްތޫރީ ނިޒާމުތަކުގައި ރައީސުލްޖުމްހޫރިއްޔާ އަކީ ވޯޓުގައި ބައިވެރިވި ރައްޔިތުންގެ މުޠުލަޤު މެޖޯރިޓީ ނުލިބި ހޮވޭ މީހެއް ނަމަ ، ރައްޔިތުން ތަމްޘީލުކުރުމުގެ ޝަރްޢިއްޔަތެއް އެފަރާތަކަށް ނޯންނާނެ އެވެ.

Don’t be surprised when elected MPs change tune from their campaign pledges.
They ran on party tickets - but the parties didn’t have campaign manifestos. Hence, each candidate was allowed to pledge whatever they wanted.
But they believe they owe their victories to the party. Not to the voters.
The party determines their actions.
The campaign pledges, and those who voted, don’t matter to them any more.
