90% of the games announced at the PlayStation State of Play event were "Press R2" walking simulators. The point of a game is to have fun, satisfying, gameplay. The story must be in support of the gameplay, it's not a facsimile movie. Make games game-y again. Return to its roots.
@magn34269 I didn’t like NMS and the headset has its issues ..but it’s good for what it is, I just prefer the look of Steam Frame for comfort and pancake lenses
@andrewtek@Meta@valvesoftware Well remembered sir 👏 yeah I gave up my Quest 3 end of June last year. Certainly in limbo and keen to give VR another shot
AirPod Pro with cameras (hand gestures I’d like to be able to use)..
Tap (finger to thumb) to pause (any hand)
Double tap right hand to skip forward
Double tap left hand to go back
Pinch and drag up/down for volume up/down
@andrewtek Seems kinda crazy that in 2026 we don’t have clothes that keep our phones secure. Maybe I should design some and try to get them made in Asia 🤔
If they subsidise Steam Machine and sell to anyone then it likely gets bought up as a mini-PC. If they restrict sales to Steam users it doesn't bring in new customers. If they DON'T subsidise then it just becomes a niche product for existing Steam users 🤷♂️
