Would be a real tough day to go online minding your own business reading news about the sportsbook you like to bet at and stumble upon someone referring to you as "the biggest losing player in the regulated market by a mile"
Imagine I'll get shit on for this or told it's a skill issue, & I absolutely wish none of the above was my experience as I think the shoes look class, but I haven't had a single moment since I've owned them where I've been close to feeling like "damn, I'm happy I bought those".
I bought my 1st pair of FJ premieres last yr. I always thought the look was exceptional & heard they were the best, I just didn't play/care enough about golf to give them a try until recently.
I am sad to say they're prob the worst all around pair of golf shoes I've ever owned.
We’d all pay $400 if @FootJoy could fix their lack of comfort issue.
For the love of the game - surely someone in a third world company could figure this out for an extra $20 raw cost.
Stains - By far the worst aspect. Sweat stains in the leather makes inside look gross over time & brown leather stains on every single pair of golf socks is insanely annoying. If you like to keep things clean, tending to the shoes/socks constantly is a crazy amount of work.
Will prob get called a poor for tweeting this amount of money but idc it's the principle - in August I was listening to a @BettingStartups pod where @jesselearmonth was interviewing @Trent_Hoerr from @Bullrushcomp & they were promoting a $100k guaranteed NFL 'survivor' pool
@PlusEVAnalytics Yeah idk only people who reached out on here or discord were still alive. Would be shocked if they paid elim entries. Getting conflicting info on if the 3x to live is even entirely true (which is inflated anyway since it includes stake back). Regardless doesn’t make any of right.
Craziest part of these insane excuses is that they were all true prior to the contest starting. You simply could have cancelled prior to the start rather than pulling the rug halfway through.
Thankfully for the defrauded though, no one is more disappointed than you! @Trent_Hoerr

@FerrisB_86 Lmao damn beat me to it. “It was a very very very tough decision and no one is more disappointed than I” said the man defrauding his customer base and saving himself a measly one hundred thousand dollars
Now here’s a company that just gets it. Some may see this as a half-ass attempt at making things “right” after screwing over contestants, but you have to consider their third ‘very’ when weighing how tough of a decision it was.
@jesselearmonth There are several ways they've mishandled or outright committed fraud in this situation, but I'll leave you out of the rest of the discussion as it's not your concern or fault. Last thing I'll say is the T&C that "allowed them to cancel" has no relevance here & will not stand up.
@jesselearmonth Genuinely appreciate you reaching out & also following up. Will have to agree to disagree on "that doesn't seem awful" part given they returned max ~$7k in credits to contestants rather than the $100k+ guaranteed. Receiving $100 on $1.4k in implied value (on low end) is awful.
