This festive season, motorists travelling from Nairobi to the Western and Nyanza regions are advised to use the Nairobi–Suswa–Narok route to ease congestion and ensure smoother traffic flow.
As you travel, stay alert and obey all the road traffic rules.

REMOVE STALLED vehicles from the road
🛑Vehicles that break down at night are hazardous due to low visibility. Motorists may not notice the stalled vehicle thus increasing the risk of rear-end collision.
🛑For the safety of all road users, remove the vehicle off the road as quickly as possible.
To reduce the risks, alert other drivers, and take these steps:
1⃣Activate your hazard warning lights and leave your headlights or parking lights on.
2⃣Open the bonnet (hood) as a recognised signal of distress.
3⃣Place reflective warning triangles at a safe distance both in front of and behind the vehicle.
