Council leaders across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough are calling on the Government's new Secretary of State to make an early decision on Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) proposals for the area.

It follows last week's update from Government that more time is needed before a final decision can be reached for our area.

During a meeting with officials from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) this week, council leaders reiterated the importance of securing a decision as early as possible.
