@JRasch06 I agree that children follow their parents’ example of how to view self efficacy. However, as teachers, we can be those role models to encourage them to exemplify self efficacy no matter what.

A8: I believe digital literacy is most important because if involved parents do not have a strong enough technology foundation to know what their kids are doing with their technology, their self efficacy as a parent most likely decreases. #itec9400 #selfefficacy

A7: Parent involvement increases students’ self efficacy if parents have positive aspirations and expectations for their students and negative factors are taken out of the environment. However, too harsh of parents can cause children to feel inadequate. #itec9400 #selfefficacy

Google Meet! I had never had any reason to facilitate a synchronous session with students prior to Covid-19. However, I continue to use it now with my virtual students, and I have figured out how to increase collaboration and group work through GM! #itec9400 #selfefficacy
