Palestinian designer Yasmeen Mjalli reveals she was on the brink of closing her fashion brand, Nöl Collective, after Israeli customs destroyed one of their fabric shipments — until Olivia Rodrigo commissioned a dress to inaugurate her Daisy Chains festival.
“I was genuinely like, maybe we should stop, maybe this is our last effort. I was just so tired. [But Rodrigo’s commission] was like divine intervention. Obstacles are always going to be there, but if you can adapt you will be rewarded. I rise and I rise and I rise.”

Please PLEASE do not let this die out !!!!!!!!#&@&! I'm in a very !!!!! Desperate!!!!!! Rushed position!¡!!! I've always loved learning and school has been my only escape for Years on end. The people I have met on here have encouraged me to believe in a less rocky future.
Just saw a clip where a teenager from Nepal said that she has lost 15 members of her family to the floods. Only her little brother and she survived.
She said she can't even afford to cry because that will make her brother cry.
The extent of devastation and loss is unimaginable.
nepal is facing devastating flash floods and people are in urgent need of support. please consider donating if you can, & help spread the word by sharing the cause. amplifying the situation can make a big difference as well.
