Neoliberalism prioritizes the testing industry and privitizers. It has literally killed us on behalf of gun lobbyists, and to keep a daycare open during Covid.
When was in-person school the bastion of mental wellness? Active shooter drills, bullying, high stakes tests, social anxiety, understaffing, poor discipline, and bad food?
It's about a subsidized daycare system and the test/prep/data-mine industry. Everything else is platitudes.
@HR_Cohen@DavidNorthWSWS@UAW@jerrywhiteSEP Being positive about people in power isn't what journalism is about. It's about holding the powerful accountable. What you're describing is called being a flunky.
@DavidNorthWSWS The return of militarism and cowing dissent is troubling to say the least, especially considering the history of European fascism in the 20th century.
@DavidNorthWSWS Odd, considering the popular Social Democratic Party ideology is derived from the theories of Eduard Bernstein...a MARXIST! It's a reformist version but rooted in Marx nonetheless.
You can exploit, degrade, deceive, and ignore the working masses for only so long. Inevitably, there will come a day when you look out the window and see this.
The key now is political independence, organization, and leadership: preventing what happened in Egypt after 2011.
Where are AFT and NEA? They are national unions. They could coordinate strikes where possible and demonstrations with the goal of national gun reform, among other things. Problem is, they have us isolated by region (like with covid). We should coordinate a national strategy.
.@VirusesImmunity clearly explains the importance of nasal vaccines, which could facilitate the global elimination of #COVID19. Under a world socialist society, ample resources would be provided to research, produce and distribute this technology globally. https://t.co/G146sIfNPD
"The Supreme Court is now poised to tear up democratic rights like a collection of corrupt corporate executives who, in a final act of wild desperation, feed all of their files into the office shredder at midnight..."

Eugene V. Debs said, โThe capitalist class buys law like they do labor. They then use that law to fleece the working class.โ
Example of the law- Joe Manchin.
Example of labor- Randi Weingarten.
Don't need an example of the fleece. Just look around!
Who else thinks the Democratic Party didn't codify Roe because they needed a way to rally voters without upsetting their campaign donors? Who else gets the sense that your rights are a bargaining chip and that the voters are pawns in a sick chess game for power and privilege?
Billionaires bought the government, regulators, and media. They've been privitizing public institutions for a long time. We're shocked that one bought this platform? Seems par for the course in Gilded Age 2.0.
Even if Congress extends and expands Child Tax Credit (far from certain), it still victimizes millions of US children in poverty. US capitalism's failures. #HowCapitalismWorks https://t.co/r8oKHDRybU
