I have a question for all Indians. Why can't English be accepted as a national language of India? It's been here for around 400 years. Nobody likes their kids to not know English. Spoken & accepted nationwide. We are better at it than most other countries. Who resents English?

@amittalwalkar Remember I was in school when Vishy made his Test debut -- zero in the first innings and an avenging 137 in the second. In its following edition, the popular Tamil magazine, Ananda Vikatan, featured a glorious Vishy in full flow on its cover. I preserved it for decades.
