State Bank of India employer did not open the account of a young man who went to activate his closed account in SBI Bank.

A few days ago, the wife of a young man got her eKYC done, but then her account was closed.

I went to SBI branch 2-4 times to activate my account but every time the bank employees would send me back with some excuse or the other.

Sometimes they would say that the form is not signed and sometimes they would say that it will be done tomorrow, these people used to make excuses every day.

One day the young man asked why the account would not be activated, then the bank manager said that it would not be activated, do whatever you want to do.

Then he asked me to call my wife, then the young man said how can I call her from 200 km away, you people always make some excuse or the other.

State Bank of India should ask such employees why they behave like this with common people.

7 BJP MLAs reportedly met J&K CM Omar Abdullah seeking restoration/continuation of reservation in promotions.

But seriously, once someone is already in government service, why should promotion be based on reservation rather than capability, performance, experience and merit?

Reservation at entry is one debate. But promotion means greater responsibility. Shouldn’t competence decide who is ready for it?

BJP should explain: what changed?

Because this looks less like merit-based governance and more like competitive reservation politics.
