So @NBCNews received $6.7 million from the Congolese government for PR! With $6.7 million, they promised to promote Congo and destroy anything that Congo doesn’t like.

NBC hired @michelawrong who is Patrick Karegeya’s sweetheart. She didn’t charge NBC money! She received $3400 for a two-day trip, covering taxi and plane ticket expenses. Michele Wrong, the “journalist”, has also written many books about Rwanda that haven’t gained traction.

Wrong has an obsession with Rwanda and wants it gone! However, every attempt to diminish Rwanda only leaves it stronger and more developed. NBC and Wrong came together to remind the world that westerns can determine how Africans live.

It's unbelievable and unacceptable to note that, whereas President Tshisekedi met President Kagame in a fruitful meeting in Doha, Qatar on 18 March 2025, whereas Minister Kayikwamba and myself signed a Declaration of Principles in Washington on 25 April 2025, and whereas Rwanda and DRC are actively engaged, over the past month, into promising US-facilitated negotiations for a historic peace agreement, the DRC, nonetheless, is still whining around in all regional and international organisations accusing Rwanda for its own turpitudes, not to mention crying out for sanctions.

Rwanda is engaged in all current peace processes (AU/EAC-SADC, Washington and Doha) in good faith and with a sense of responsibility, and will never accept the manipulation, by a reckless and hopeless DRC, of regional economic communities such as ECCAS, which is unfortunately running counter to its funding principles and intended purpose.

Indeed, ECCAS has no business to deal with the crisis in eastern DRC, which is in the hands of two other regional economic communities, EAC and SADC, under the mediation of AU-mandated President Faure Gnassingbé of Togo.

Today’s commemoration, especially our President’s speech at the Kigali memorial, reminds us that Rwanda is worth fighting for, and that Rwandans and Africans should continue to fight wholeheartedly, despite the heartlessness that may surround us. Goma is very secure and not a war zone by any means. People say they feel safer, and they have begun participating in keeping their city clean as citizens, "muganda" style. It appears that Rwandan culture of order, cleanliness and developing with few resources are being emulated across the region.

This cultural influence that Rwanda is imparting on African leaders who have visited Rwanda is what many Westerners are beginning to resent about the Rwandan administration. It’s that same influence by the Rwandan monarchy that made the westerners destroy the ruling class of Rwanda in the early 1900s.

We told western countries many times that, for the past 30 years, the FDLR genocidal force has been a permanent threat to Rwanda, especially as they are now supported by the Congolese government and embedded in the FARDC.

Unfortunately, these world's powers refused to listen to us, arguing that the FDLR combatants are just a bunch of "old and weak" people, and that Rwanda is using them as a pretext to "invade Congo for minerals".

Yet, the FDLR, a movement that has continously recruiting on its genocide ideology, was even supported by @MONUSCO, a 26-year old UN peacekeeping mission that was supposed to neutralize them, as per several UN Security Council resolutions.

And today, a group of FDLR combatants captured on the battlefield (including Brig Gen Ezechiel Gakwerere, one of the murderers of Queen Rosalie Gicanda - here in a FARDC uniform -), were handed over to Rwanda by the AFC/M23, a rebel movement that is doing the very job that the self-righteous international community should have done over the past 30 years.

But guess who they now call the "villain"...
