@SirCumference98@ShyGuy19949969@hi523275438946 except for the dictatorships. And I have no idea what you're talking about with imperialism, or how Argentina could even be imperialist even if it wanted to be.
@SirCumference98@ShyGuy19949969@hi523275438946 I'd say most of our presidencies were economically centrist and ideologically left-wing (except, obviously, for the last ones). While one of our most important political figures was considerably fascist, there weren't too many particularly fascist moments in our country +
@MarcusCVance I always thought of it as "you can't kill ideas." No matter how much you kill, how much you oppress, ideas will continue to exist, and one day, that idea will outlive you.
@griefofppl It's rare (though not impossible) to see an author write a female antagonist as secretly pathetic. For many reasons, many of them, for example, because they like more the idea of a sexy femme fatale.
@griefofppl Yes, and that was awful. But that's not the trope we're talking about. If we were debating the depiction of sexual abuse, that would be a different discussion. But here, we're specifically talking about when a character's mask of power crack to reveal their pathetic inner self.+
