So proud of my sister Teresa. In the past 10 mo she got diagnosed (luckily early) with aggressive breast cancer. Chemo, double mastectomy…and beat it. After surgery in May she could only walk 2 blocks Last week she hiked Grand Canyon 23.5 mi Rim2Rim, 3 sisters by her side ❤️.
John, OEC program staff member, stopped by to show off the donated rescue truck on his way to get SLP graphics put on. Another great asset to our program from one of our community partners. Thanks @SBMFireDept for the donation!
Give a student chalk, and they'll give you art 🎨 Luke Karger, 11th grader at Spring Lake Park High School, earned 2nd place at the MN State Fair for this impressive chalk landscape from an Art Foundations 1 course - making us all #SLPPantherProud! #ArtsEdWeek
Great article featuring our Superintendent @JRonneberg on why funding the cross-subsidy is so important to MN Schools and Spring Lake Park Schools specifically. #mnleg#SpecialEducation
Supt. @JRonneberg joins school districts across MN calling on the #mnleg to hold a special session to address the #SpecialEducation cross-subsidy. Just a portion of MN's $7 billion surplus will help districts mitigate looming budget cuts and layoffs.

Finalists presented their innovative products at shark tank today. It was clear they took last weeks feedback and polished their pitches. So impressed!
Thank you to High School for inviting me to judge in the shark tank event. Our students had great ideas for products, did their research and were more polished in presenting than I ever would have been at that age. Another great experience through our community partnerships!
Students in our Business and Entrepreneurship course are participating in a shark tank today with industry partners, pitching and getting feedback on innovative business plans. Fun to hear the ideas, and see them get more confident with each pitch .@SLP_Schools
Busses begin to arrive towards the end of kindergarten recess & each day this bus driver stands by the gate and kicks back run away balls to the kiddos. Staff show up in the coolest of ways for kids at @CenterviewElem1
Baseball field dedication on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. From July 2019 to today was quite a transformation. Congrats @BaseballSLP on a win! #SLPPantherProud
Every year this Mom comes back to the SLPHS courtyard and every year when the ducklings are ready our custodians lend a hand with helping her find the pond off 81st avenue! Our custodial staff is the best! #SLPPantherProud
Wishing you were watching a Big Ten team today? Gopher Women’s Gymnastics is in the Region Finals for the chance to go to Nationals. Yesterday Gopher gymnasts won all 5 individual awards. They are really fun to watch!
Great to hear the sound of Lighthouse Elem kids laughing in the cafeteria today. Staff are doing a great job keeping kids socially distanced while they socialize with friends! #SLPPantherProud
After George Floyd's murder, a survey revealed that only 30% of white Americans have tried to learn anything new about race or equity. I created a short lesson to help. Ignoring these truths will poison your relationships with black students and people. https://t.co/W82h3w0kfM
