AiQ's Weekly Highlights July 5, 2024:

-VHI is 5 days behind, experts are circulating extremely outdated maps, models will show improvements in the USA and Australia
-USDA's FAS update in Brazil will provide key insights into methodology
-USA temps are mild in the main growing areas, corn's potential has shifted back towards trend, the far western corn belt will run 6-12 degrees above normal in the next two weeks.
The Black Sea is the main area of concern. Corn, sugar beets, sunflower, rapeseed, and spring wheat will be the main crops stressed in Ukraine, Russia, Romania, and Bulgaria. Rom/Bul's main growing area could reach triple digits.
Most experts are now following AiQ's higher wheat numbers in Russia and Safrina corn in Brazil. Analysts will remain behind the curve on major production trends as long as they rely on others' guesses.
