New article on @agformet!
We used machine learning to upscale spot CO₂ measurements from portable chambers, replicating continuous eddy-covariance monitoring and revealing how grazing management affects carbon fluxes in semi-arid grasslands https://t.co/yHxJ7Amngt
Happy to share a new lab @agformet paper, "Proximal measurements of microwave reflectance using GNSS-IR track
semi-arid grassland vegetation dynamics during greening and
browning phases," led by Dr. @_charliedevine_ https://t.co/p0AelCZIud

New paper out! 🔥🌿
We developed an ML (XGB) model combining satellite data, drought indices & soil moisture to map Live Fuel Moisture Content (LFMC) across the French Mediterranean, with 250 m LFMC maps (2016–2022).

New paper in @agformet w/ @kris_kaminski_, AM Haberlie, @WalkerSAshley, and @gensiniwx. We examine how derechos affect crop conditions and yield. More derechos doesn’t always mean greater losses—exposure, timing, and antecedent conditions are key💨🌽

Nuevo articulo en @agformet:
"Adaptive responses to thinning: Growth and sensitivity to hydric and thermal stress in four widely planted pine species"
Colaboración dentro de #Silvadapt y liderada por Àngela Manrique & Santiago Beguería y otros colabs.

Interested to know how the vegetation talks to monsoon in India? Well, monsoon is not the most favoured season for carbon uptake, as a starter. Read first such review in @agformet for more. @iitmpune, @moesgoi; #EddyCovariance, #NewPaperAlert, #BharatFlux https://t.co/q3qLkgnUs1
Our recent work on "Wheat leaf area index retrieval from drone-derived hyperspectral and LiDAR imagery using machine learning algorithms" from my PhD research has now been published in

Excited to share our new paper @agformet led by student Galen Hanby! We found that the impact of drought on tree growth depends on both stand structures and species’ growth strategies. @ResearchGate: https://t.co/XScbc2tCWE
Check out our new manuscript published @agformet. We found warming has divergent effects on multiple sequential phenophases of alpine plants, which will start growth and senescence earlier while allocate more time to reproduction under future warming.https://t.co/UoXXIq7whK
Our new study was just published in @agformet ! We found that water availability, especially VPD, was the dominant factor driving the spatiotemporal variations in quantum yield of ecosystem photosynthesis. The link: https://t.co/9nRvk92MOs
New lab paper by @WonseokFromESL 💐
Many assume🛰️reflectance is true. We thoroughly evaluated #Sentinel2 reflectance on a rice paddy and found that adjacency effects, broadened point spread functions, atmospheric corrections, and geolocation errors all contributed measurable uncertainties. This led to the effective spatial resolution >> 10 m.

Great report on Aus rice yield by @riceextension, lots of insights.
Glad @une_aarsc could collaborate, including a bunch of remote sensing, weather and phenology analysis and charts we developed for this @agformet article :

Our article just published in the Agricultural and Forest Meteorology Journal @agformet ! We share insights on how record-breaking heatwaves and droughts in 2022 impacted vegetation growth in China.
