Sandos Caracol Eco Resort, Playa del Carmen MX - We noticed that there was a bad sewage smell in the air in many areas of the resort. The birds and monkeys were seen eating off the buffet as well. The water in our room smelled heavily of sulfur and chlorine like they flooded the water to try to kill off bacteria. Our eyes were red and irritated from showering. Upon entering the buffets there we noticed the yogurt, meats ,cheeses, fruit bowls etc were not on ice on left out all morning/afternoon. I became violently Ill with fever, diarrhea, vomiting, every 30 mins for 24 hrs. https://t.co/UvBbXBhWmI
