The Buffalo Sabres and Washington Capitals have agreed on a sign-and-trade for Alex Tuch. A third-round pick will go to Buffalo in the deal, per @PierreVLeBrun.
Tuch's contract will carry an AAV of $10.5M for 8 years.
Breaking: The Washington Capitals are finalizing a sign-and-trade for Alex Tuch from the Buffalo Sabres, sources tell @emilymkaplan.
Tuch will sign an eight-year extension with an averaging $10.5 million a year, sources said. The Sabres are getting a draft pick in return.
