Today's the day! Universal Basic Guys premieres on FOX at 5pm PT! It's my first primetime credit and I'm proud of what our scrappy team at Bento Box whipped up. And now the theme song gets to be stuck in everyone else's head like I have for the past 2 years. Give it a watch!
What’s Up Doc?! My name is Eric Bauza — I’m a Voiceover Artist that works in Animation. Without those Hard Working Animation Workers I would have no characters to voice!! And you’d have no Cartoons to watch!! Please show your fellow HUMANS some support!!!

People are going to find things to be upset about either way. The biggest backlash seems to be coming from the issue of "filmmaking by committee" already, so your solution is to expand the committee?
Studios are assembling superfan focus groups to assess various materials for a franchise project to avoid social media backlash.
“They will just tell us, ‘If you do that, fans are going to retaliate’ … If it’s early enough & the movie isn’t finished yet, we can make those kinds of changes.”

New episodes of Gremlins: The Wild Batch out on Max!
Remember trying to make Director @gostephgo laugh with these old beats of new bad boy Chang giving kids cigarettes ❌🤭 voiced by @SimuLiu
Too many thoughts for one post but w/ my last two projects having 90% of artist roles shipped out overseas, it's crushingly lonely work missing that collaborative spark that made me fall in love with animation work. AI will make it even worse. Bring back the art! Support humans!
Yo, I'm Andrew Guastaferro, and I greased the wheels as a production worker on some kickass projects like Bojack Horseman & the Gremlins prequel series, & I wrote funny words for Wacky Races and Batwheels. Currently Writers' Assistant on Universal Basic Guys! #StandWithAnimation

Imagine working on a show for years, putting your all into it, only for it to premiere and get removed from existence shortly after. These shows deserve to be watchable, even if they don’t continue. What the hell is the point of streaming if not?
Production #animation workers keep shows and films running smoothly, playing a vital role in the creative process. They deserve the same protections and support. This week let's #StandWithProduction!
@Lila_Martinez You did such an amazing job with Bats in Show and Save the Bat Dance for Me! Lots of complicated action between all the pups (and hyenas) and too many dance moves, and they both turned out so great!!
The flat reality is that while it remains cheaper for studios to use freelance work to achieve the same milestones on the schedules and the budgets, they will continue to do so. Quality of work produced suffers along with workers' quality of life, but that's not their priority.
Asked for just one day's wage to cover all prep work (reading materials to catch up on show, reading notes & writing pitches to solve them, meetings w/EP to kick off each episode step) for the entire script assignment from premise to final. Denied.
The freelance model is absurd.
