Today is a win for American democracy.
This SCOTUS decision preserves a promise that has defined America for generations: Birthright citizenship is a constitutional guarantee, plain and simple.
The Constitution prevailed. We have all prevailed.
@xyoben@Globalstats11 most of diffrent religions were created in times, where humans didnt have major knowledge about surrounding them world, religion was form of coping with that. And even in today's world religion is preserved, just because of its inheretly coping nature.
@xyoben@Globalstats11 Exactly, life has no objective meaning/purpouse and diffrent philiosophies are just coping with that. By throwing the word ''cope'' to downplay them, you completly forget that the concept of religion itself also is just pure cope.
@xyoben@Globalstats11 atheism is not a religion, rather an absence of one. Person can be atheist and still seek the meaning of life through diffrent philosophies.
@y47wb8r74j@benbackupbackup And why are they vaccant? Because of regualtions, prices of services like renovation grow every year, while regulations dont allow them to rent them for profitable price, therefore they arent renovated and stay vaccant.
@y47wb8r74j@benbackupbackup By even writing comment like this in the first place you prove to be economicly illiterate, because supply and demand principle, as the name suggests, IS NOT only about demand, but also abt supply, if demand stays the same and supply increases, the prices drop.
@y47wb8r74j@benbackupbackup you do not understand my point, supply and demand principles work in exactly the same way across all trade, the demand for housing obv can change if more people want to move in or out the city. And 1900 nyc was an example that proves this point.
@Topinka222@Szabadsag1956 Thats pure misinformation, yes some people indeed live in bad condidtions you described, but its nowhere a high number. Look at top 10 countries with highest GDP per capita and the compare them with top 10 countries with smallest GDP per capita, you'll see if that a fake metric
@alhameenn@chixxsays You just confirmed that you dont know what methaphor is. He did not meant that hijab is the cage, rather that the women born an raised in muslim culture, that views them as inferior (the cage) think that women that are against it are doing something bad (Thinking its an illness)
