Mock FFA meetings, Churchill Downs backside field trip, and we took 40 FFA members to the NAILE Championship Rodeo last night.

School doesn’t start for another hour but I’m out here at Churchill Downs with 13 of my favorite aggies! No better way to start a morning!!

The problem with short weeks is we still try to fill them up. My favorite guy worked with me on Monday, a great advisory day, and as I was ending my week at Kroger this afternoon, one of my favorite FFA officers came and got my cart. Great week ⭐️

Last week, some of our active FFA members attended the 97th National FFA Convention. Members had the opportunity to participate in leadership workshops, attend general sessions, network with vendors, colleges, and employers at the expo and even attend a Megan Moroney concert.

Bullitt East FFA was WELL represented tonight at the District 5 Farm Bureau contest! Sarah Kate Bischoff and Olivia Strange gave a beautiful performance of American Honey by Lady A. We are so proud of these girls!

Week 2 back from maternity leave and if I can’t be with my baby, at least I can love on this one!!

Shoutout to our Assistant Principal, Mr. Crepps for bringing in a freemartin calf for our Animal Science students this week.

Week 7 included Farm to Table, Cedar Creek Farm Beef field day, mum delivery, and Bullitt County Farm Bureau Outstanding Youth all in my first week back from maternity leave.

Asked our FFA members to bring in an item for the Thanksgiving dinner because I didn’t think our officer team could cook everything and they showed out big ⭐️ Our best Thanksgiving dinner yet. Love my job, love these kids 💕
