@Cac0110@Uncouth_Bard@AtomicCatholic Bonus points if you also stare longingly into each others eyes and and then emphatically say โI really REALLY like youโ
I'm sorry, America. I fucked up and didn't vote in 2020. But Cards Against Humanity paid me $100 to post this apology and make a voting plan, and now I'm a whole new person! Did you skip 2020? Get paid to apologize today at https://t.co/T4M9bZ9ele #DonaldTrumpIsAHumanToilet
Thereโs a retreat for Catholic young adults in my area that has five speakers. Every single one of them is a man. I (perhaps naively) didnโt think this was still an issue in 2024
@Chris_SmithsJ I'm sure you're aware of this, but this actually happened when the Jesuits were suppressed in the 18th c.

@catholiccom rather how we can show up as *our* best selves.
To me, dressing well for Mass means doing my hair and wearing perfume. We canโt control how (im)modestly the people around us dress, but we can control how *we* present ourselves.
@CDamianWrites There are fewer national parishes for a myriad of reasons, but the best latino ministry coopts the best aspects of national parishes for modern use. National parishes were a sort of one stop shop for spiritual, social, economic, and legal needs among immigrants
@MonkeeBread@CDamianWrites You're exactly right, these parishes declined because 2nd and 3rd gen immigrants were more assimilated into U.S Culture and moved to the suburbs!
Ironically, these "national parishes" were founded to preserve national culture and identity, yet helped descendants assimilate
