For people at #DIS2022, check out Connor Pecar's talk how to reconstruct SIDIS variables at low y at the EIC using ML methods. This work will open up part of the kinematic phase space not accessible using traditional methods.

Three police officers went to an *elementary* school in Tennessee & arrested four Black girls.

One girl fell to her knees. Another threw up. Police handcuffed the youngest, an 8 yo with pigtails.

Our joint theory [John Terry] and experiment [@agvossen, Qinghua Xu, Jinlong Zhang] paper appeared today. We provide a comprehensive overview of transversely polarized Lambda production at the future Electron-Ion Collider.

@NateSilver538 there seems to be a misconception about the 95% protection. Afaik the protection for severe illness is much higher (close to 100%), whereas this mother seems to think that there is still a 5% chance of getting ill with the same symptom distribution as if you are not vaccinated.
