Next on the visit list is the ongoing @SAGrainTrust trial looking at pasture seeds in the low rainfall zone, their economics and hard seededness with @rporter_ag from @AgXtra 🌱
This is year 2 of the trial with wheat sown to see nitrogen fixation and longevity of seed!
Another stop on the crop walk is the @SADroughtHub canola management trial managed by @rporter_ag & @AgXtra. Looking at new varieties, sowing rates and time of sowing best fit for the Murray Plains, including input from @startwithseed & @wilb171, @pioneerseedsau 🌱
