When curiosity meets opportunity, transformation happens.
For Lynn Ahabwe, the Women Techsters Fellowship wasn’t just a learning experience, it was the launchpad that paved her way to a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence at Carnegie Mellon University Africa.
Now, she’s using AI to revolutionize healthcare, building solutions for early disease detection and driving inclusion through technology.
Her journey is proof that with curiosity, courage, and the right opportunities, the possibilities are endless.

Everyone is glued to the World Cycling Championships #Kigali2025 , but let’s not overlook another historic win this time for Rwanda’s young people!
On 17th September 2025, the President @PaulKagame signed into Law n°026/2025, lowering the age of consent for accessing healthcare services including sexual & reproductive health from 18 to 15.
For the first time ever, adolescents can walk into a clinic and get the care they need without parental consent. This removes one of the biggest barriers to protecting their health and rights.
What this means for Rwanda’s teens:
✔️ Quick access to contraception & SRH services
✔️ Fewer unintended pregnancies & unsafe abortions
✔️ More girls staying in school and chasing their dreams
With this bold step, Rwanda is leading the region in advancing adolescent reproductive rights. A victory worth celebrating!
Congratulations to @HDIRwanda and all other stakeholders who advocated for this milestone. This is not just a win for adolescents it’s a win for Rwanda’s future.
