@PaulTassi Ask the person who laid them off to keep her paycheque high and protect her profit margins. Because you know it always works so well at the end.
@asha_shar What a load of shit, anything to keep that paycheque at the level it was promised, while others lose their jobs. Yep, profit margins, seems that a lot of the gaming industry is never beating the allegations.
@Benarasiyaa Just shoot the kneecap. All that training and the preferred way of neutralising a threat is shooting them until they drop dead. There’s always a better way, this is not it.
@PaulTassi If sales collapse, they’ll have themselves to blame, and how will they combat that? Either their salaries take a hit to save their devs or we’ll have more mass layoffs, reduced dev budgets and studio closures. It’s a domino effect in the game industry either way.
@PaulTassi I mean, the least they could do is try, Asha is doing that right now. As for how well it’ll pan out, Asha and her management will find out in due time, the same way Phil and his did. Either they draw in more players and increase interest in the platform, or the absolute opposite.
@TheGalox_@mweinbach Those aren’t validation units bub, and if it makes a difference, they aren’t breadboard units either. They’re as close to the final production variant units as you can possibly get and the production unit variants are known as GB10, which this is almost as close to that as can be
@tomwarren Someone should tell Jensen that glorified arm reference designs with enlarged caches, that consume around 40% more power, to achieve the same performance as the last gen Apple silicon, isn’t as much of a win as he seems to think it is.
@tomwarren Great, embed more root kits at the system driver level just so that can enable anti-cheat. As if Denuvo’s security violations aren’t enough to throw people off.
@chris_netzel@JamieMoranUK If you’re referring specifically about western game devs, I agree. Only a select few from the indie category are good. The rest, especially the bought out or acquired ones aren’t as consistent, especially those that develop the same thing over and over again.
@MichaelDoesLife You’re playing a tactical espionage stealth game, where the action moments and set pieces are contextual and triggered by the story.Them you complain about trivial npc’s not reacting to vehicle collisions, when you’re not even meant to interact/come across them in the first place
@curatorgamingx Room temp iq statements, like the one above are why I’m glad people like you aren’t actually in charge of finance or management departments, you’d sink entire companies into the ground. Stick to your braindead takes, it’s all you’re good for.
@ImtiazMadmood He brought the biggest guns to do what exactly? Pay using taxpayer money, all the while doing the most crystal clear form of tax evasion? Masterminds of what, what are we referring to? BYD is humiliating Tesla in actual innovation and Nvidia is literally trying to force feed you AI
