What has become of the rest of the individuals who were seen held captive alongside the late General Rabe and his wife ?
I hope they, too, are now free.
A silent yet majestic transition unfolded last night at the Grand Mosque as the Kaaba received its new Kiswa, these images capture moments words cannot fully describe.
Yesterday, June 15, security forces and a number of civilians were k!lled on this Anka - Bagega road after bandits planted IED explosives.
One effective way to curb such attacks on the Bagega road would be to pave it with asphalt making it harder to conceal explosives.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to all security personnel who risk their own safety daily on the front lines to protect our communities.
🌟 From Orthodox Priest to Islam: A Journey in Search of Truth 🌟
Born in Moscow in 1956, Vishislav Polosin grew up in a secular environment with little connection to faith. Yet deep within, he felt a longing for truth and a greater purpose in life.
He studied philosophy and eventually became an Orthodox priest, serving the Church for many years. His influence grew, and he later became a member of the Russian Parliament. Despite his success and position, his heart remained unsettled.
As he studied religion more deeply, he began to question certain doctrines and practices. During a visit to Central Asia, he met Muslims whose sincere worship, simplicity, and devotion to One God left a profound impression on him.
A scholar once told him:
“You see things through the eyes of a Muslim… and one day, you too will become a Muslim.”
Those words stayed with him.
He continued researching, reading, and searching for answers. The more he learned, the more convinced he became that Islam was the faith that answered his deepest questions and brought peace to his heart.
In 1999, he publicly embraced Islam and became known as Ali Polosin.
Reflecting on his journey, he said:
“The light of Islam reaches everyone who sincerely seeks truth and righteousness.”
His story is a powerful reminder that guidance belongs to Allah alone, and that sincere seekers of truth can find their way to His light, regardless of their background.
🤲 O Allah, keep our hearts firm upon Your religion, guide us to the truth, and make us among those who hear the truth and follow the best of it. Ameen.

Nearly two years after the arrest of Alhaji Salisu Runka in Safana LGA over allegations of acting as a bandit informant, what became of the case? Was he prosecuted, convicted, acquitted or quietly released?
As citizens, we must not only celebrate arrests but also demand updates on investigations and judicial outcomes. Too often, high-profile suspects disappear from public scrutiny, and when accountability is absent, it sends a dangerous message that crimes can be committed without consequences.
For the sake of victims, justice and community trust, authorities owe the public transparency. Following up on these cases by citizens also keeps institutions accountable and may discourage others from aiding criminal groups that continue to plunge our communities into fear and chaos.
NB: Below is a video that surfaced in October 2024 reportedly shows Salisu Runka admitting to his role during questioning.
The British oil company that became BP discovered Iran's oil. When Iranians realized they were being robbed, they nationalized it — so MI6 & CIA toppled their democracy in 1953, installing a dictatorship. Iranians rose up in 1979 & the West has never forgiven them for it.
You won’t see your child for a few minutes, and you’ll be wondering where they went. Now, imagine having a 2-5 year old child kidnapped and living in the bushes with bandits. Only God knows what the parents are going through. It’s unimaginable. We have failed them as a nation. Allah Ya isa.
