Fact is — If Trump actually wants to be the only one that created peace between Russia and Ukraine — he needs Zelenskyy to sign the peace deal. Putin is not at war with America— The US cannot sign the peace deal on behalf of Ukraine despite all the money and support they have offered.

Habibi, in 2005, @kizzabesigye1 young brother, Musasizi - Saasi - was arrested and charged with terrorism. Despite the High Court ruling that the trial was illegal, Elly Tumwiine refused to release them and kept him and others in jail.

Eventually, the Constitutional Court freed them. Minutes later, the army and police rearrested them! Saasi and two others were taken to Bushenyi in western Uganda and charged with murder. John Byaruhanga, the man they allegedly killed, it later turned out, was a creation of the state who never existed in first place. It didn't matter, the state kept him for years.

His conditions deteriorated steadily, the state denied him bail - or any form or release for better medication. In fact, it even denied him access to such medication in jail. Months, days, and hours went by - each taking away from his health - and his life. When he was eventually released, it was too late. He succumbed not long after.

It is on the graves of people like Musasizi that NRM has built its - “In some areas you can't win without the NRM flag…” brand. Without their death - and there are many thousands like Saasi - the NRM wouldn't have that tag. It is this tag that young people like @Jacobeyeru want to benefit from. It is on the coffins of people like Saasi that they build their political dreams and construct the roads that lead them to the “eating table”.

Yet, somehow, they get shocked when people get mad at them. You have the right to associate, but you opted to associate with robbers, and killers who have caused untold suffering to millions. That's your right, but it is also the right of those calling you out to do so!

Recorded in Kampala, Uganda in February 2025, ‘Third Time Lucky’ is a call for Africa’s third liberation sung by Bobi Wine, mixed by Paddyman, and written by Robin Auld and Greg Mills.

The song was released to raise awareness of the rendition and trial by military tribunal of the Ugandan opposition icon, Dr Kizza Besigye. It includes appeals to ‘Free Kizza’ from democrats across the world, including Nobel laureate Oleksandra Matviichuk, former presidents Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Andrés Pastrana, Martin Torrijos and Ian Khama, former Prime Ministers Yulia Tymoshenko and Moeketsi Majoro, the Archbishop of Cape Town Thabo Makgoba, and ministers and opposition leaders from across Africa, Latin America, and Europe.
