If he wants to put food on the table, plenty of other ways.

Luckily the ulema dont charge an hrly rate or else we'd all be broke and religious knowledge would be limited to the elite. We sat with scholars with decades of studies under their belt & they not only taught us free but would feed us too.

@D1mashqi I felt the same way till a group of Palestinian brothers told me they view it as a form of Ribat when Muslims from outside of the occupied territories come and sit alongside them at Al Aqsa. They said it keeps pressure on the occupiers and prayed more Muslims would come.
