@hakuramalam @hammettz @CustomsMv @MoEnvmv and recently customs together with economic ministry worked on revisions of tariff rates.. again, it’s economic ministry’s call and customs renders assistance to the work.. and when the revision is enforced, hopefully ur concern on energy conservation wud also be addressed.

@hakuramalam @hammettz @CustomsMv @MoEnvmv when the question of law & logic arises, the law prevails.. customs at its discretion does nothing in levying duty rates on imports.. it’s all regulated by the executive in collaboration with the legislature.. hence the rates levied are all governed by law.

also let’s not be misconceived.. our current polity is run by a coalition with incumbent president’s powers delegated amongst his coalition partners.. hence, parties shud fulfil their legal obligations to resolve matters instead of crying over spilt milk.
