🔐 Update on the Upcoming Verification Process

We know many of you are looking forward to verification - and we’re stepping closer to that moment.

This process is designed to be structured, transparent, and fair, ensuring every qualified Human Node moves forward with clarity. Here’s how the flow will work:

Phase 1: Matching
You begin by tapping “Match Curator.”
An anonymous list will appear, and you can choose a curator to match with.
After selecting, you enter the matching state and wait to be successfully picked. Once picked, your application advances to the submission stage.

Phase 2: Submission
When it’s your turn, a strict 24-hour countdown will start.
You must complete and submit your documents within this time. Missing the deadline may move you to a later pool, delaying your progress.
There are 3 submission levels. After completing all required steps, you press Submit, and your status changes to In Review.

Phase 3: Verification Process
This is the last stage - your application will be reviewed carefully.
This process is more than a technical update - it’s a defining milestone before full verification rollout.

In a few hours (2025-02-28 23:59:59 UTC), cPen mining will switch over to $INK. Please update your app to v1.2.20 or later to ensure uninterrupted service.

On the Wallet page, you can check your PEN and INK token balances. Note that the Verified amount is 0 for now, as the verification process hasn’t started yet. Once complete, your verified amount will be updated.

Make sure to complete any pending KYC and BSC wallet address entry by March 11 to fully qualify for token distribution. Also, please be aware that post-switch, mining streaks will reset.

Previously, we announced that token mining will soon switch from $PEN to $INK (please update your app to the latest version if you haven’t already). Today, we want to clarify the differences between these two tokens and why both are essential to our ecosystem.

$PEN will be used as the gas fee token on the cPen blockchain when we have the open network, ensuring smooth, secure on-chain transactions. Looking ahead, $PEN will play a key role in the future development and governance of the cPen blockchain.

In contrast, $INK is designed for in-app purchases within the cPen App. Similar in spirit to Telegram’s Star—but with a major upgrade—$INK will be fully on-chain and transferable, giving you enhanced control and flexibility in your app interactions.

Eventually, we plan to separate the cPen blockchain from the cPen app to form the cPen Foundation. Separating functionalities lets us optimize both our blockchain and app experiences:
• $PEN powers blockchain transactions and future governance.
• $INK fuels app-specific features and in-app economies.
