Zelensky confirms that American intelligence sharing with Ukraine has resumed. Meanwhile, Donald Trump appears to be waking up inside a nightmare entirely of his own making.

Imagine the scene. It is Monday morning. After nearly 50 hours of international chaos, resembling the aftermath of swallowing an entire packet of brightly coloured pills on Thursday evening, the president finally opens his eyes.

The room is full of deeply worried people. His Republican colleagues look as though they have just discovered the consequences of their own careers.

One adviser wants to know whether America has actually surrendered its foreign policy to Moscow. Another is trying to explain why European governments are reconsidering American contracts. Canada is looking elsewhere for partners. Former allies are delivering what amounts to a collective, diplomatic fuck you.

Someone from the Pentagon wants answers. Someone from Wall Street wants reassurance. Someone from the State Department would simply like to know whether the United States still has any friends.

And Trump, surveying the wreckage of decades of American influence, has just one question.

“Did I make any great deals?”

No, Donald. You spent the weekend turning the world’s most powerful alliance into a customer complaints department.

Every year at this time, we in Ukraine honor the memory of our people who were killed in Russian captivity. On the night of July 28–29, the Russians massacred our people in Olenivka – brutally, callously, with absolute cynicism. More than 50 Ukrainian prisoners of war were killed, and over 100 were wounded. This is one of those war crimes that shows what Russia truly is. It is a state that completely disregards human life, an absolute evil that cannot refrain from killing.

We must always remember who we are dealing with. We must bring all our people home from Russian captivity – military personnel and civilians. It is important that Ukraine is not alone in this effort and that our friends around the world are helping us through their mediation. It's because he punches DOWN.

He stirs up alarmist racial animus -- he loves to post videos of Black and White people fighting, trying to frame it as a race war that's happening now. It's not.

He claims he's not racist because he f*cks a woman of color. Racists LOVE to lean on that bullshit.

And you know what? He and his family lived a privileged life as white South Africans under apartheid. Look it up.

If I had Elon's wealth, I would have already solved world hunger, and had more money left over than my great grandkids could spend in 20 lifetimes.

When I was a kid, and was about to throw away uneaten food, my Mom would say "Do you know how many kids are starving in Africa?"

As a kid, I was expected to have more empathy for starving kids in Africa THAN THE RICHEST MAN ON THE PLANET has.

He shouldn't do these interviews any more, not if he doesn't want to be completely reviled. He looks like a jackass.

And it makes NO sense: his cars, the Tesla, were meant to appeal to people like me, the Libs, the progressives, people who actually believe that climate change is a thing!

What does he do? Antagonizes the majority of us, having us look at other EVs like the Rivian or whatever.

And I don't give a shit if Space Karen sees this. He's been crushing my signal strength ever since he bought this app, despite his declaring the return of so-called "free speech."

The world's worst secret is that he's been propping up right wing accounts and throttling the rest of us.

Honestly, I saw this video earlier today, and I barely skimmed over it. I haven't normally paid much attention to what he does. I don't follow him on Twitter, and didn't even care about his interview.

But what struck me was how smug and entitled he was in the interview, like he couldn't believe she was talking to him like that. And then I remembered how all those kids died because of him.

Anyway, THIS is how you interview power: be fearless, unafraid, come prepared with facts, push them all the way back. Elon looked like he wanted to jump out of his chair and hit that woman.

Але москва застрягла у своєму історичному болоті й не зрозуміла головного.

Сьогодні Україна має власну державу і власне військо. За кожною українською книжкою, за кожною друкарнею, за кожною бібліотекою стоять Сили оборони України.

Ми відбудуємо друкарні і надрукуємо нові книжки.

Жодні циркуляри й укази не змогли знищити українське слово. Не зможуть цього зробити й російські ракети.

Russia launched one of its largest ballistic attacks on Kyiv - it launched 41 missiles and 125 drones across Ukraine.

One person killed and 15 more injured.

Fires and damage in so many places:

▪️ In Dniprovskyi district, smoke appeared near a shopping center and a fire broke out in a dormitory.

▪️ In Desnianskyi district, cars and warehouses caught fire.

▪️ In Solomianskyi district, a supermarket, a nearby residential building, a three-storey office building, and a five-storey residential building were on fire.

▪️ In Shevchenkivskyi district, falling debris caused a fire in a three-storey annex to an administrative building, damaged parked cars, and shattered windows in a nearby residential building. A direct hit struck an underground passage at Lukianivka near the metro station where people were sheltering.

Today, our long-range sanctions worked across three areas on Russian territory, as well as on our temporarily occupied land and at sea. In particular, in response to Russian strikes on our civilian infrastructure and on our cities and communities, two major logistics facilities were hit – in the Moscow and Tambov regions, more than 500 and nearly 700 kilometers from the front line. The aggressor used them to supply sanctioned components for drone production and navigation equipment. An oil facility was also struck. In addition, Ukrainian mid-range strikes engaged targets in the waters of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea, and in our temporarily occupied Crimea.

I thank the warriors of the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Special Operations Forces, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine – every unit of Ukraine's Defense Forces – for their precise and coordinated execution of these missions. Russian terror against Ukrainian civilians continues: three killed in Odesa, seven injured in Sumy region, infrastructure damaged in Kryvyi Rih last night.

▪️ Odesa: a Russian missile strike damaged residential buildings. Three people were killed, three more were injured and hospitalized.
▪️ Dnipropetrovsk region: in Kryvyi Rih, infrastructure was damaged, and a 53-year-old man was injured. In the Nikopol region, a five-story apartment building and an agricultural enterprise were damaged. A farm caught fire in the Krynychanska community.

▪️ Kharkiv region: Russia targeted the Slobidskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts of Kharkiv. A warehouse, a gas station, and a residential apartment building were damaged. Over the past 24 hours, two people were killed and 16 others were injured across the region.

▪️ Sumy region: Russian forces struck a residential area with multiple launch rocket systems using cluster munitions. Seven people were injured, and at least 10 households were damaged.

▪️ Zaporizhzhia region: over the past 24 hours, Russian forces launched 1,031 attacks on 58 settlements. One person was killed, and four others were injured.

Kherson. Not just drones: yesterday, Russians dropped an aerial bomb on the building of a school where civilians received water, humanitarian aid.

I have been to this building many times, filming the elderly getting bread.
