As Ashesi President Patrick Awuah shared at Emerson Collective's 2024 Demo Day, success in education is not measured by degrees awarded, but by the courage students gain to solve real problems.
#atAshesi, we recognize that Africa's future success and the ability of its young people to lead this future depends on the higher education community working together to empower our youth. Through @Edu_Collaborate, reforms are being implemented to strengthen learning for hundreds of thousands of students on the continent.
Across Africa, young people are already building solutions. What becomes of that potential depends on the choices we make today about education. Your support fuels this movement. Make your year-end gift today: https://t.co/Ox8P9ZdxbX
Maxwell Aladago arrived at Ashesi University on a full scholarship, with only a limited understanding of how computers worked. Four years later, he was developing artificial intelligence algorithms for various applications, including detecting malaria parasites in blood smears. After earning his Ph.D. from Dartmouth College, he is now a Software Engineer at Google.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community International, under the guidance of its Caliph Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, is launching a global campaign #voicesforpeace to bring an end to the war in Gaza and establish peace.
Support our efforts by using #voicesforpeace to draw the attention of the world and leaders at all levels to the urgent need to de-escalate the conflict and establish peace before the war, God forbid, escalates even further.
USCIRF Commissioner Susie Gelman: “We are deeply concerned about the increasing number of attacks against places of worship in #Pakistan. Recent instances of violence against Christians and Ahmadiyya Muslims are blatant violations of religious freedom.” https://t.co/EYsPUDJzPz
