This is a clear example of why political dynasties should be banned. Family members defend or cover up each other's wrongdoings, which is an injustice to every law-abiding citizen.
Rally for Peace?

'SAKIM SILA': NO POLITICIAN OWNS 5-HECTARE LOT IN SITIO PUGAD LAWIN, LAS PIÑAS, COUNCILOR SANTOS CLARIFIES
Las Piñas Councilor Mark Anthony Santos clarified that no politician in the city owns the 5-hectare lot in Sitio Pugad Lawin, Barangay Almanza Dos, which is home to 4,800 residents. This contradicts the claim made by Sen. Cynthia Villar, who said the Aguilar family owns the land.
In her speech on Wednesday, December 18, Villar stated that only four of her siblings remain, and they are now dividing the lot after two of their siblings passed away.
Villar also mentioned that the land would be distributed among the residents, provided they support her family’s candidates in the May 2025 elections.
However, records from the city assessor's office show that the lot has been titled under the name of former Presidential Commission on Good Government (PCGG) chairman Camilo Sabio and his wife, Marlene, since the 1980s. The property, with a market value of P69 million and a current assessed value of P13.9 million, is designated for residential use.
According to Las Piñas City Hall records, the lot has never been under the ownership of the Aguilar or Villar families, as claimed by the senator. Informal settlers began to occupy the area after the 1986 EDSA Revolution.
Santos added that there are 900 households in the area, divided into five zones.
Budget cuts happening left and right for health, education, and basic rights. Use of confidential funds not being explained properly. Brainless politicians topping the polls. Hard mode talaga pagiging Pilipino.
