The game is to be told, not sold. In the land of bots & trolls, there's a lot of selling going on. On Twitter for laughs & quality threads, not follower growth.
Exactly. Brown was added to this team and they weren't even favorites to get out of the east, let alone win it all. The mere fact that Bron can join & folks start talking bout ring chasing is a tacit admission that this soon 2 be 42 year old is a top 5-10 player in the league
To me ring chasing is Malone & Payton joining Kobe & Shaq (didn’t win but it was) Ray Allen joining Miami. If LeBron went to OKC or the Knicks even. He’s going to a team that hasn’t won since 1983. Don’t see how joining a team that wasn’t expected to win it all is ring chasing.
@GuruLakers Says alot that Bron would go to Philly for practically the minimum than stay in LA for the minimum. Almost like there's more to that situation than simply dollars and cents.
@Jumpshot8 Spot on. They kept saying this was a super team becuaee of 3 stars, but the super turned average when one of them played subpar. That doesn't make sense. Wade & Bosh should have been more than enough to pick up the slack. Bosh was putting up some atrocious tour dates that series.
@bronhistory Bron is not joining a team where the fan base will blame him for any shortcomings that team faces this year. He more than learned his lesson from the Lakers. And he is not adding to Steph's ring total.
@UncleJeson@NBAPaint1 That's not the convo being had right now on the timeline. It's "Bron and MJ gotta move over". A few years ago, i saw the same rant for Jokic. Folks gotta chill man. That 🐐 road is further than the eye can see. And it for dam sure can't be seen after 1 chip.
@RichStapless These convos remind me of how folks were talking when Jokic got his first ring. I get it, wemby definitely has a 🐐 level ceiling, but things change very quickly, especially with that Herculean CBA and its undefeated go-to move dubbed the "Luxury Tax Avoidance."
