TAYO SA WAKAS is not just a love story—it’s a painful reminder of how love can slowly disappear when pride, ego, and the need to prove yourself become bigger than the person standing beside you.

The movie hits hard because it shows a reality many couples face: sometimes people don’t stop loving each other—they just become so focused on their own battles, ambitions, insecurities, and validation that they forget to nurture the relationship. Love becomes a competition instead of a partnership.

One of the most heartbreaking realizations in the film is that you can be deeply in love with someone and still lose them. Not because there was no love, but because the love was no longer being felt. By the time Cisco realized what truly mattered, Cheska was already exhausted from carrying the weight of a relationship where she felt unseen and unheard.

“Sorry, nakalimutan kong mahal mo ako. Sorry, nakalimutan kong mahal kita.” That line perfectly captures the tragedy of loving too late.

The film also reminds us that loving someone should never mean losing yourself. Dreams, growth, and individuality should coexist with love—not be sacrificed because of it. Real love celebrates each other’s growth instead of feeling threatened by it.
