I decided to go quite and just focus on testing, now after weeks ive finally landed on a potential winner, been mostly profitable for about 9 days now, $100/d budget averaging 3 roas, 2 adsets statics 4 image ads each. QUESTION IS, HOW DO I SCALE? WHEN DO I INCLUDE NEW ADS? IM CONFUSED!!!

Road to 100k/m Day 6-7-8

I haven’t updated in a while not because I’ve been complacent, rather the opposite actually.

My side store has been printing decent cash flow for me which allowed me to focus more on building out a proper branded store BUT, since it’s a new store they told me they will be releasing my payout on the 4th of February.

This is too long especially for someone with limited cash flow, best course of action is to lay low on this store for now and wait for the first payout to hit and then I will continue (it says that payout duration will become less and less).

I’ve also established good plans with my ecom partner on the desires/ angles we will be testing. This will help me since workload is split and so is adsorbs until I get my salary (I feel like such a wagie).

Today I’ll continue making the ads,will warm up the ad account and run a page like campaign, we should be live in around 2 days max.

Road to 100k/m Day 5

Will be posting updates a day later since it makes more sense.

Today I met up with a previous partner and we agreed to partner on future stores, this will save me a lot of time and allow me to test products quicker.

Pump and dump store did horrible, this is supposed to be a quick cash grab 😭😂

I edited the creatives and scheduled it for a run today so we will see how that goes. I shouldn’t waste too much time on this.

Currently preparing products to test, I’ll be testing one store with a partner and one store by myself just to really maximise the chances of hitting a winner.

Gonna grind out today product research and will begin setting up another store today.

short term store doing decent first day (2 sales) high intent in terms of metrics (8 add tocarts and many checkouts) this gives me a good insight as to what a product with high demand actually looks like.

This also tells me that day 1 isnt as important as I may seem to make it out to be.

I did a bit of product research but not with full deep focus, which is a negative on my end. Whenver I seem to have some motion going, i kind of relax and let loose, which is something I should work on.

Also in current discussion to partner with someone which would help me alot in terms of time, as I work full-time currently in a job that is intellectually demanding, so having someone partner with me helps take some weight off but at the same time lets me focus on the highest leverage things such as making better ads/ market research.

I need to lock in for tomorrow, minimum 3 products, that I have high hopes for locked down. Also begin work on a new shopify store.

Absolutely horrendous metrics today, again, no add to carts and nothing.

Most likely will cut this product for now, but paused campaign as im building out a quick pump and dump store to hopefully fund this long term testing more.

thats pretty much the update for today, but I will most likely to re-run this with better ads etc. since the unit economics were really good, but for now focusing on getting that pump and dump store out.

Today results were much better.

£1.10 cpc, 3.3% CTR and a clear adset that is getting a lot of spend that also generated a conversion although unprofitably.

But at least now we have a direction of what works well and what the algorithm favours, so I know to make more variations/ explore different ways to push the winning concept.

Today I drafted new ads but haven’t launched them as I do have a belief that adding new adsets on day 1 may mess performance, so I left it as draft. Probably will launch it tomorrow, I’m still spending at £50 a day.

I need to test my theories and limiting beliefs and break them fr.

I hate waiting long with such a low budget but in the trenches rn so have to firm it 😞

However there is still only 1 atc 1 ic 1 sale so it may be a lucky sale.

Will see performance tomorrow and make adjustments then.

Anyone know whats the most highest leverage thing to do when you are on your first day of your product test spending £50 a day?

Its too little spend to do anything but at the same time im too autistic to just sit down and watch and feel like its counter productive. Lowkey i could also make new ads but im not sure for which angle to do it for as its still day 1 spend and things may not be clear.

should I even schedule ads for 2nd day? or will this mess with performance?

I just realised all this questioning is making me stall and i should probably just do more actions instead of thinking. Welcome to the mind of a genius trying to become more retarded

Today I launched a new landing page for my product. The ads performance today was horrible, but we move on.

Made new static ads with high intent.

Scheduled campaign for tomorrow.

If we still dont get any good metrics ill be cutting.

Had a product test that flopped, was on gethookd and found a good new avatar to target for same prod. Rebuilt the lp for new avatar, created some image ads (and ripped some vids) and scheduled campaign, we’ll see how it goes tomorrow.

Gonna begin documenting my ecom journey this year fully inshallah because I actually want to hold myself accountable. I started around early 2024 and managed to hit 20k months in 2024 inconsistently, 2025 we don’t talk about it 😂 but I ask Allah that I have success this year
