Rahul Gandhi is a consummate liar.

His latest claim, that women in India do not aspire to become commercial pilots, is not just false, it is the exact opposite of the truth.

India has the highest proportion of female commercial pilots in the world. Women account for nearly 15% of India’s commercial pilot workforce, almost three times the global average of 5-6%.

Countries often cited as leaders in gender inclusion in aviation trail India by a wide margin:
• India: ~15%
• Ireland: ~9.9%
• South Africa: ~9.8%
• Australia: ~7.5%
• Canada: ~7.0%
• Germany: ~6.9%

Indian women are not waiting for Rahul Gandhi’s approval to dream big. They are already flying aircraft, commanding cockpits, leading businesses, excelling in science, serving in the armed forces, and breaking barriers across professions.

The real problem is that Rahul Gandhi’s politics depends on portraying India as a nation of failure, even when the facts say otherwise.
