📖 September 9 - International Day to Protect #Education from Attack

In contexts of crisis and emergency, schools must remain a safe space where young people can grow up protected and develop their potential.

Ensuring that every girl and boy has access to a safe education is the fundamental prerequisite for building the future of every community.

In #Lebanon and #Syria, #ItalianCooperation is on the front lines alongside local institutions and communities to rehabilitate and secure school buildings, provide psychosocial support to students and teachers, and promote inclusion and equal access to education for all.

Protecting education means protecting the future.

#LebanonEmergency – As part of the STANCE project, funded by #ItalianCooperation and implemented by @UnPontePer, distributions of hygiene kits, menstrual hygiene kits, and solar lamps have taken place in recent weeks across collective shelters in Beirut and Sidon.

Leaders of Tomorrow completed the 2nd phase of its food parcel distribution under the MAHMIE project, delivering 1,000 food parcels in North Bekaa, supporting more than 4,300 individuals.
