AI Dev Circle

A community for engineers shipping in AI, not just chasing hype | By @reactplayio

[AI Dev Circle @aidevcircle]

We are officially live now!!! 🥳

Do check out this post to know more about our story:)

And if you like it. Give us a follow 🕺

[Pritesh Kiri @PriteshKiri]

We’re starting a new chapter. 🚀

Over the past few years, @ReactPlayIO meetups have brought together an incredible community of developers, builders, speakers, and friends.

And now, we’re evolving:)

After a lot of conversations, ideas, and planning over the last couple of months, @tapasadhikary and I are excited to introduce our new initiative:

AI Dev Circle (ADC) - @aidevcircle

Going forward, our meetups will continue under AI Dev Circle, with a broader focus on AI, developers, agents, tools, frameworks, and everything happening around the AI ecosystem.

But one thing remains the same: the community.

If you’ve been part of our ReactPlay meetups, you’re already part of this journey. There’s nothing you need to change or move to. Same community, same people, same energy, just a new direction and a lot more to explore.

And there’s more! 🕺

- Our new AI Dev Circle website is live
- The website is open source, so you can check out the GitHub repo and contribute
- You can now follow AI Dev Circle on LinkedIn and X
- Our Instagram and Luma remains the same

Most importantly, our first-ever AI Dev Circle meetup is coming up this October!

We couldn’t be more excited to welcome you all and begin this new chapter together.

Check out the links below, explore the website, share your feedback, and join us for the first meetup.

Welcome to AI Dev Circle. ❤️

New on our Engineering blog: Creating in-house source control.

In May, we merged around 2,500 code changes per day. In September, we merged more than 30,000 per day. As a result, we became bottlenecked by developer infrastructure built for human (rather than agent) scale.

Here, we share how we built a new version control system—and fully migrated our monorepo from git—in five months: https://t.co/wzNkwHs7IN

Had an incredible time at the #AIDevCircle meetup hosted by PhonePe in Bengaluru! Great deep dives into inference engineering, AI delegation, and on-device AI. Always inspiring to connect with devs shipping real products instead of just chasing hype.
