Catalyzing Resilient Recovery in Balochistan

With support from the Government of Germany, @KfW_dev, the Government of Balochistan and with the active involvement of communities, UNDP has constructed 40 climate and disaster resilient homes in Hanna-Urak, Quetta—with 700 more currently underway.

UNDP Resident Representative @SamuelRizk and Deputy Resident Representative @Van_ntn recently visited the province, where they met with flood-affected families to reaffirm UNDP’s commitment for support to resilient recovery.

By late 2025, nearly 10,000 people will benefit from this support of restoring not just homes, but dignity, resilience, and hope.

This is resilient recovery in action.
