This Tuesday, two more names.

Amirhossein Maleki.
20 years old. From Isfahan.

Amirhossein Ebrahimi.
20 years old. From the village of Analoujeh in Isfahan.

They were executed this morning.

Please do not let them disappear into a number.

Twenty years old means there should have been more mornings.

More ridiculous private jokes.
More arguments with brothers and sisters.
More gardens to tend.
More mistakes to make.
More things to learn.
More ordinary Tuesdays.
More life.

Iranian authorities accused them of involvement in the deaths of four police officers during the January protests. Human rights monitors have also documented allegations of torture, forced confessions and serious due process violations in the wider case.

That distinction matters.

Because when the punishment is irreversible, due process cannot be an afterthought.

And they are not the end of this case. Other young defendants remain at grave risk.

Dr. Sato, please keep their names in the record. Please keep asking what happened in those interrogation rooms, what evidence was independently tested, whether confessions were obtained under coercion, and what protections remain for those still facing execution.

This is not some fantasy.
It is not a nightmare we wake up from.

It is a lived nightmare that keeps repeating itself.

Please stop it.

Please.

As executions continue unabated, the voice of public protest will not be silenced.
The cries of protest from retirees and workers ring out loud: "By the blood of our comrades, we stand until the end, until the death penalty is abolished," and "Political prisoners must be freed!"

The international community must take immediate action to stop the wave of executions.
Silence in the face of the execution wave in Iran is a license for the regime to carry out more massacres domestically and to export terrorism and warmongering.

It is evident that you have your “reasons” for ignoring and discarding a mountain of evidence and undeniable records by victims of the Shah dictatorship, Reza Pahlavi’s history and his supporters violent, intimidating behaviour, as well as his self-admitted relation with the IRGC.
One cannot help remembering what your fellow countryman Bertolt Brecht said about those who do not know the truth and those who know the truth and call it a lie! So be it, give him his “candy prize” but never in the name of Iranians.
